Christmas 2020

Today, we are doing something kind for a 29 year old woman called Emily, who was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer earlier this year. It’s been a tough 6 months. She has been undergoing intensive treatment, and they recently found out the cancer has spread to her liver. Emily has 3 young girls, aged 8, 4 and 2.

She said: “It’s been a horrible time for all of us, but this is our new normal so we’re trying to adjust our life. Most of my guilt lies with how this all will change the girls’ lives.”

Emily wants to make as many memories with her daughters as possible. With funds raised by Gala Bingo, we are helping to send Emily and her family on a magical holiday. We hope they have a wonderful Christmas together and make many happy memories.
