This week, the School of Kindness headed up to Leeds to visit two amazing schools - Westmoor Primary and Haigh Road Infants. The children took part in our Kindness Workshops, learning all about the importance of kindness and the amazing benefits it can bring - not just to the people around us but to ourselves as well.
As part of the workshops, we told the children all about a young girl called Evie. Evie who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Her seizures are severe and affect her heart and stop her from breathing altogether. Evie is housebound, and her garden was in a terrible state which meant that even at home, she couldn't go outside.
The children all worked together to make some beautiful cards and gifts for Evie, which absolutely made her day!
(As well as the wonderful kind messages, 52 Lives supporters also helped Evie in other ways - click here to read her full story
