September 2018
This week, we ran a Kindness Workshop with the lovely children at Stanwick Primary School in Northamptonshire - and what a wonderful day it was! The creativity and care the children showed was absolutely incredible.
We discussed the impact being kind can have, not just on their own physical and mental health but also on those around them, and the entire world! We talked about how the little choices they make every day have the power to change lives - and then we put that theory into action. We told the children all about a young boy called George, who has a very rare illness called Batten disease. George has been having a tough time - he is losing the ability to walk, talk, see and eat.
When the children heard about what George is going through, they got to work making beautiful cards, gifts, and messages for George - they even made George his very own 'Where's George' book, inspired by Where's Wally! George is going to be so thrilled with his beautiful cards and gifts - thank you so much to all the children at Stanwick Primary for showing him so much kindness. it will make a big difference to his life.
