This week, we’d like to help an 8 year old boy in need of some kindness. We are limited this week in how much we are allowed to share about his circumstances, but what we can say is that this little boy has had a tough few years, he has autism and he is no longer in the care of his parents.
We first heard about him when one of his care workers got in touch to let us know that there was a young boy who wanted to do something to help 52 Lives. All on his own, he had decided to do a sponsored walk to raise money for the people that we help.
She said: "He has taught all of us about 52 Lives and he has really inspired us...he even encouraged everyone to do one kind act for each other. We are so proud of him.”
But the more we learn about this boy, the more we realised that he was the one deserving of some help and kindness. He has been away from his parents, separated from his siblings, and put into a completely new environment. With your help, we’d like to give him a day out somewhere, and also provide him with some sensory items, toys and games.
