#442 Children in need

Request: Donations / Gifts / Kind messages

Summer holidays are almost here and, for families who are already struggling, it's going to be a really tough couple of months. We'd like to help.

A small charity called Cowshed who we work with is running four free holiday clubs to help children in Berkshire living in poverty. The club will include lots of games, arts & crafts and a free BBQ lunch as well.

There will also be two special family fun days for refugees, where families can come along and have a lovely day out together. There will be games and activities plus a free hot lunch provided. Many of the families are living in hotels, all in one room, so free days out like this make such a difference.

There will be 80 children attending the holiday clubs and 200 people attending the refugee events.

We would like to send every child home with a rucksack filled with books, crafts, colouring pencils, sunscreen, toiletries, and any stationery they might need for school. Can you help?
