#449 Pants & Socks Appeal
Request: Donations / Gifts from a wishlist / Kind messages
This week, we’d like to provide brand new pants and school socks for 50 children living in poverty in Oxfordshire.
A small charity in Witney called Apollos Clothing distributes school uniforms to children in need. The demand for pants and socks has gone through the roof this month but they aren’t able to fulfil all the requests.
With your help, we’d like to make sure every child given a uniform also receives a brand new packet of pants and socks to go with it.
We’ve set up a wishlist and will use all financial donations to buy more of what they need.
What We Did
We were aiming to provide 50 children in need with a packet of new pants when they collected a school uniform from the Apollos clothing charity. But thanks to this amazing community, we have been able to provide 252 packets of pants as well as big bundles of socks and vests too!
It may seem like a small thing, but having new, properly fitting underwear means so much to the children you have helped.
Thank you to everyone who has helped with this appeal, and thank you Apollos for the amazing work you do helping families living in poverty.
