This week, we’d like to help a woman called Wanda who is just about to move out of a women’s refuge.

Wanda fled from her partner after years of severe physical abuse. He hit her, burnt her things in front of her and told her he would kill her. She was terrified and it took a huge amount of courage for her to leave.

She has been living in a women’s refuge for the past 18 months, but is finally able to move into a place of her own this week.

Almost everything she owned was destroyed by her ex, and she has been left with nothing.

We’d like to help her start again.
