Anti-Bullying Week Extravaganza
November 26, 2017 | Latest News
We've been zooming all over the country this week to run our Kindness Workshops for as many schools as possible as part of Anti-Bullying Week.
We worked with hundreds of children, discussing the physical, emotional and social benefits of kindness, and shared with them stories of two children who have been bullied. They made beautiful cards and wrote kind messages for us to take to those 2 children. We hope it will help them feel loved and supported. But we also hope that the children who wrote the cards now feel empowered - our workshops aim to help every single child realise that the choices they make and the little things that they do have the power to change lives.
I'm also very proud to announce that 52 Lives is now a core member of Anti-bullying Alliance, a network of organisations who work together to stop bullying.
Thanks so much to all the children at Albrighton Primary School , Westville House School, Evendons Primary School and Latton Green Primary School who helped us spread kindness this week. You were amazing! To read more about our work in schools, visit our School Kindness page
