52 Lives runs Kindness Workshops for thousands of primary school children every year. We used to give every child a plastic badge. What a waste! We don’t want to be responsible for adding so much plastic waste to the world, so we have just replaced the badges with these - recyclable certificates with a drawn on badge, as well as pencils made from recycled CD cases. The kids still love them, but they’re a bit kinder to the planet. We’re not perfect and I’m sure there’s more we could be doing so we’ll keep looking for ways to get better.
