Earlier this year, we helped to create a new bedroom for a young boy called William who had recently lost his brother to suicide.

One of our supporters, Sarah, wanted to do more to help William. All year she has been buying monthly cinema vouchers for William so he has something to look forward to, and she also got in touch to ask when his birthday was so she could send him some extra gifts (it was last week).

William is obsessed with The Titanic, and when Sarah found out, she used her networks to arrange for another special surprise for him. Her friend, Rochelle Rose, played the Countess of Rothes in the film, and when Rochelle heard about William she arranged for some of the cast (who I'm not allowed to name) to send William birthday messages. It absolutely made his day.

Some children who took part in our Kindness Workshops also made William amazing cards and video messages...thank you so much to all the children who helped, and to Mallorca International School and Peareswood Primary School.

William has been through a lot this year, and all of this kindness has helped him feel so loved. Thank you. x
