This is Brogan. He is an incredibly kind man who has had a tough few years. Last year, with funds raised by Gala Bingo, we helped to pay his travel costs so he could be part of the Special Olympics Bowls team for Plymouth.

A couple of months ago, his sister got in touch. She told me Brogan’s 21st birthday was coming up and she was worried he wouldn’t receive any cards and wondered if we could help...and thanks to our kind supporters, he received a big bundle and it made his day.

But one of those cards was extra special. An artist called Fifi used the photo we had shared of Brogan to paint this picture of him. I don’t think she could have realised how much it would mean to him. This is the note we received from Brogan’s sister ...
