The end of lockdown was a big relief for many of us – but for others, it brought fear and anxiety.

We’ve been speaking with lots of different small charities and community groups that work with older people, and there is a great deal of concern about the physical and mental health of those who are alone, isolated and afraid. We'd like to try to help.

With extra funds donated to us by Gala Bingo, we’re going to be funding a range of events designed to help hundreds of older people emerge from lockdown and start socialising in a way that feels safe for them – with smaller numbers, and Covid-safe measures in place.

We’re working with some wonderful community groups to make this happen, and we’ll be sharing some stories and photos of what we do over the next couple of months.
