52 Lives supporter changing refugee's lives
July 19, 2017 | Latest News
More than 500 fair-trade footballs have been sent to refugee children in Syria, Dunkirk, Athens and Lesvos thanks to an initiative by 52 Lives supporter Christina Laurence-Jackson. Christine is aiming to spread kindness by sending 1000 footballs to refugee children around the world. She has raised more than £2000 so far to fund the initiative, and received incredibly generous support from AHMM Architects (Allford, Hall, Monaghan and Morris).
"The idea is that these balls will not only provide these children who have lost everything with a possession but it will also enable them to come together and connect with others that they now find themselves living with. As I say in my poster, 'football speaks a universal language'."
You are amazing Christine! More details on her initiative can be found here
